Meet Dr. Jim Nudera
Dr. Jim Nudera is a board-certified orthodontist dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles through personalized care. With advanced training in orthodontics and a strong commitment to continuing education, he combines clinical expertise with the latest techniques to deliver high-quality results for patients of all ages.
Known for his approachable and patient-focused style, Dr. Nudera values building genuine connections and guiding each patient through a comfortable and rewarding orthodontic experience.
Education and Qualifications
Dr. Jim Nudera grew up in Aurora and attended high school at Marmion Academy. His formal education began at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He continued on to dental school, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Doctor of Dental Surgery. While still at the University of Illinois Chicago, Dr. Nudera completed his orthodontic training and Master’s degree in Oral Science. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
In order to stay up-to-date on current techniques and be aware of future advances in both product development and future orthodontic techniques, Dr. Nudera continues his education through courses in Invisalign® and the Damon® System, as well as through participation in local study clubs. This gives him the opportunity to collaborate on current cases and future treatments in all facets of the dental and orthodontic fields

Outside The Office
Dr. Nudera currently resides in St. Charles, about five minutes from our South Elgin office location, with his wife, Kim, and two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kelsey. His leisure time is spent with his family, though he does enjoy a round or two of golf!
